There could be several factors preventing you from placing a new book request with the library's paging service. Contact Circulation Services with any additional questions about requesting items.

You have overdue books

If you're on campus, return overdue books as soon as possible. If you're off campus, contact circulation services to find out how to return your materials and clear your account.

The books you've returned haven't been processed yet

As a COVID-19 precaution the library is quarantining all physical items for 4 days when they are returned. If you recently returned an item but are unable to check out a new one, it may be because your return is still in quarantine and hasn't been processed yet. Contact circulation services with questions about returned items.

No requestable items

If you got an error message, "No requestable items", then the item you requested is not part of our circulating collection and not physically accessible at this time. Try placing an ILL request for the item.
