If students ask you to open the Animation Lab, and you have a key (meaning, if your office is along “Reference Row”), you may oblige. This is not their recommended path to access, but Daniel says that if they know enough to say, “Animation Lab” then they’re legit!
If you can’t let them in for any reason (you don’t have a key, you’re helping someone else, you’re just not sure), that’s fine too. All of the software that they need is on the Macs outside the lab, too. And, they should be able to get in on their own through other means. (From liaisons blog, 10/26/18)
