How do I place a hold on a book that's checked out?

If you need the item before it is due: place an interlibrary loan request here. If you can wait until the item is returned: search for the item in MIDCAT and click on the “notify me when available” button. When the item is returned, you will get an email indicating it is on hold for you and ready for pick-up. This does not change or shorten the due date of the title.
